Jill M. Tripp, B.S., CFP®
Jill M. Tripp grew up in the Bitterroot Valley and attended college at the University of Montana, graduating with highest honors in 1999. She has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with emphases in Finance and Accounting. Jill began working at Stewart & Associates in 2002 and became a Certified Financial Planner™ Professional in 2006. She is registered as an investment advisor representative with the State of Montana. Jill became co-owner of Stewart & Associates in 2012 and became the sole owner at the end of 2021. She and her husband Jeff have two teenage sons and spend much of their free time attending the boys’ various extracurricular activities. Jill also enjoys running, hiking, reading mystery novels and following the Montana Grizzlies sports teams.
Gage Legare, B.S., CFP®
Gage J. Legare graduated from Montana State University in the spring of 2019 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and a minor in Accounting. Gage has worked for Stewart & Associates, PLLC, since October of 2019 and is registered with the State of Montana as an Investment Advisor Representative. Gage is also a Certified Financial Planner™ Professional, earning the designation in April of 2022. Gage grew up in Glasgow, MT, where he played basketball and baseball until he graduated from Glasgow High School in 2015. Gage enjoys playing golf, watching baseball, fishing, and spending time with his wife, Sierra.
Richard C. Marshall, Ph.D., CFP®
Richard C. Marshall graduated from Michigan Tech University in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He entered graduate school in 1973, and after receiving an M.A. in Economics from Wayne State University in 1976, he was employed as an Economist for the State of Michigan (1976-1978) and for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (1978-1980). Richard joined the U.S. Forest Service in 1980 and held the position of Mineral Economist of Region 1 of that agency for over 20 years. In the mid-1980’s, he returned to graduate school and earned a Ph.D. in Mineral Economics from the University of Arizona. He completed the College for Financial Planning coursework in 2004 and joined Stewart & Associates in 2005, upon his retirement from the U.S. Forest Service. Richard passed the exam and became a Certified Financial Planner™ Professional in 2006. He was a co-owner of Stewart & Associates from 2012 through 2021. Richard is now semi-retired and works part-time for Stewart and Associates on special projects.
Sherie D. TeSoro
Sherie TeSoro joined Stewart & Associates in January 2013. She worked for Farmers Home Administration for 8 years dealing with farm emergency loans, rural housing and business loans, bankruptcy, and litigation. She then worked as a paralegal for the U.S. Department of Agriculture Office of General Counsel for 3 years before taking a break to stay home with her children. Sherie enjoys reading, horses, fishing, camping, baseball, theater and music. She is an active volunteer with the Lolo Food Bank and with Donate Life.
