Jill M. Tripp, B.S., CFP®
Jill M. Tripp graduated from the University of Montana with Highest Honors in the spring of 1999. Ms. Tripp has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a double-emphasis in Finance and Accounting and a minor in Spanish. She was selected for the President’s Recognition Award as the Outstanding Senior in Finance during the 1999 academic year. After graduation, Ms. Tripp spent three years working as the Credit Analyst in the commercial loan department of a local bank. She was employed by F. Stewart & Associates, P.C. from August of 2002 through December of 2011, and she became co-owner of Stewart & Associates, PLLC, in January 2012 with Richard Marshall. She completed her coursework with the College for Financial Planning in 2005 and passed the CFP Board Certification Exam in 2006. Ms. Tripp is also registered with the State of Montana as an investment advisor representative. In her free time, Jill enjoys attending her sons’ sports activities, competing in running races and triathlons, as well as participating in functions with the Garden City Rods and Customs car club.
Richard C. Marshall, Ph.D., CFP®
Richard C. Marshall graduated from Michigan Tech University in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He entered graduate school in 1973, and after receiving an M.A. in Economics from Wayne State University in 1976, he was employed as an Economist for the State of Michigan (1976-1978) and for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (1978-1980). Dr. Marshall joined the U.S. Forest Service in 1980 and held the position of Mineral Economist for Region 1 of that agency for over 20 years. In the mid-1980s, he returned to graduate school and earned a Ph.D. in Mineral Economics from the University of Arizona. He completed the College for Financial Planning coursework in in 2004 and joined F. Stewart & Associates, P.C., in 2005 upon his retirement from the U.S. Forest Service. Dr. Marshall, who passed the CFP Board Certification Exam in 2006, is registered with the State of Montana as an investment adviser representative. In January 2012, he became co-owner of Stewart & Associates, PLLC, with Jill Tripp. He enjoys playing golf and tennis, bicycling, reading, traveling, and kayaking.
Sherie D. TeSoro
Sherie TeSoro joined Stewart & Associates in January 2013. She worked for Farmers Home Administration for 8 years dealing with farm emergency loans, rural housing and business loans, bankruptcy, and litigation. She then worked as a paralegal for the U.S. Department of Agriculture Office of General Counsel for 3 years before taking a break to stay home with her children. Sherie enjoys reading, horses, fishing, camping, baseball, theater and music. She is on the 4-H Council and enjoys volunteering for several organizations.
